Romans

green yellow star The guilt of Men

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen , being understood from what has been made , so that men are without excuse . For although they knew God , they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him , but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened . ( NIV ) yellow star

Rom 1: 20, 21

violet star How God is saving Mankind

But now a righteousness from God , apart from law , has been made known , to which the Law and the Prophets testify . This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe . There is no difference , for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God , and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus . God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement , through faith in his blood . He did this to demonstrate his justice , because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished - he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time , so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus . Where , then , is boasting ? It is excluded . On what principle ? On that of observing the Law ? No , but on that of faith . For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law . ( NIV ) red star gold star yellow star violet star

Rom 3: 21 - 28

aqua star Salvation is for all men who believe Jesus is Lord

But what does it say ? “ The word is near you ; it is in your mouth and in your heart , ” that is , the word of faith we are proclaming : That if you confess with your mouth , “ Jesus is Lord , ” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead , you will be saved . For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified , and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved . As the Scripture says , “ Anyone who trusts in him will never put to shame . ” ( NIV ) red star green star green star
